1.Explore world of geography
Serbia is located in the central Balkans. It borders Hungary to the north, Romania to the northeast, Bulgaria to the southeast, North Macedonia to the south, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to the west and than Montenegro to the southwest.
This is an multinational country. There are around 7 million people who live in Serbia, but if we count those in the diaspora, we can say that there are around 11.5 million Serbs. The biggest city is Belgrade (Beograd), which means “white city,” and it is also the capital of Serbia.
Serbia is a democratic country. It means that the way of governing depends on the will of the people, and that there is free election. The Serbian President is Aleksandar Vučić.
In Serbia, the official language is Serbian.

Serbs are a very sporty nation
Especially in disciplines like tennis, basketball, volleyball, and water polo. With that, Serbia is proud to be called the home country of famous athletes, such as:

3.What is the religion in Serbia?
The biggest religion in Serbia is Serbian Orthodoxy, but there are also people who identify as Catholics, Muslims, and Protestants.
Serbian orthodoxy is you could say a strict religion, there are different rules that there are to follow if you want to live up to religion, like fasts before every big holiday. But a lot of people don’t respect that.
Main religious celebrations are Christmas on 07.01, Eastern, like you see most of them are same as in Catholic, they are only on different days.
But there is one celebration that is celebrated only by Serbs, and that is slava. It is a day when a family celebrates one of the saints, most famous saints that are celebrated are: St. Nicolas, St. Michael and a lot more.
On holidays there is espacialy tasty food.

4.Home country of the first vampire
The word “vampire” is from Serbia.
And one of the first vampire cases was documented in a village named Kisiljevo in 1725.
A villager named Petar Blagojevic who died and after his death, a few other people died in a mysterious way.
Also some villigers said that they heard him at night knocking at there door.
they say that suddenly deaths stopped when they daggered him.
