You don’t like big cities and crowded places?

Or would you like to take a one-day trip to a small Serbian city?

Then you are in the right place.

Here are a few cities you might love!

2. Kopaonik

Kopaonik is actually the most famous ski resort in Serbia.

It is located under the mountain Kopaonik.

At first, there were not many settlements.

However, when interest in this mountain grew, it attracted a lot of visitors from all over the world. As time passed, it became a city in the middle of a forest.

Today, every year, there are millions and millions of people from Serbia and all parts of the world who come to Kopaonik. Additionally, every year, Kopaonik organizes concerts and festivals both in winter and summer.

2. Subotica

If you like architecture, then Subotica is the right city for you.

Here you can see beautiful buildings like Ferenc Raichle’s Palace or the Grand Terrace.

Or see one of the 5 beautiful squares.

Personally, I’ve never been to Subotica, but it is on my bucket list.

3. Kragujevac

Kragujevac is known for being number one in a lot of things.

For example, the first court and the first gymnasium were established here, and also the first electrical power plant in Serbia was built here.

Today, it is famous for the memorial park “Šumarice” and the musical festival “Arsenal Fest.”

The best times to visit Kragujevac, in my opinion, are in December around New Year and in May.

4. Vršac

If you love wine, then you should go to Vršac, where you can taste wine that was served in Austrian and Hungarian palaces.

There are also a lot of other activities; you can relax at the city park, see Vršac Tower, and much more.

Also, there is an opportunity to go paragliding.

Wich city would you visit?
